Meet management

Chris | Director

Chris is the founder and MD of Cam Store. With a wealth of knowledge spanning nearly 40 years. With a background in transport and warehousing, Chris can always be relied upon to find a solution to a problem. Chris lives in Hertfordshire with his wife but his second love in life is motorbikes. He has an extensive collection and a hobby for riding in most of his spare time.

Alex | Director

Alex is Chris’s daughter and joined the family business 12 years ago. She has gained vast knowledge of the storage and logistics industry over this time. Alex is entirely customer focused and like her father, will always find a way to provide the service required by her customers. Alex lives in Hertfordshire with her 2 dogs and cat. In her spare time she will be at the gym or socialising with her friends.

Mick | Warehouse Manager

As warehouse manager, Mick ensures that everything runs smoothly with our vast stock holding. He has been part of the team for over 20 years and is considered part of “the family”. In his free time, you’ll catch Mick hitting the gym or showing love to his fleet of awesome cars! He’s all about staying fit and keeping his wheels spotless.

25 Years of History

Cam Store was founded some 25 years ago and has expanded in that time from a single warehouse on our 4.5 acre site to 4 warehouses with a 15,000 pallet capacity and over 250 storage units.

Initially, at the age of 23, Chris provided a forwarding service which grew into a haulage company with over 100 vehicles and depots in Royston, Warrington and Northern Ireland. This necessitated the larger yard which we now call home in Royston and so grew Cam Store.
